Typical cosy Dutch bar/restaurant, with an outstanding location on the Nieuwmarkt, with a view over the historic Waag Weighing House. The only downside is that in the evening it's on the shady side of the square, so you don't get the evening sun on the terrace. Attracts a mix of students, locals and tourist. It was built around 1900 and was originally used as a waiting room for the horse-drawn tram. The walls are still ornamented with tiles from that period and a painting of the South Holland Beer Brewery.
