The Museo della Carta (Paper Museum) is a small museum located in the ruins of a paper mill located near the top of Amalfi. Continue your exploration of Amalfi's past by hiking up into the Valle dei Mulini (Valley of the Mills) where you can see the ruins of the town's once prosperous paper mills.
For Medieval history fans, visit the Museo Civico where you can see important documents dating back to the Republic of Amalfi in the Middle Ages, including the Tabula Amalphitana (Amalfi Tables), which established a maritime code that was used throughout the Mediterranean until 1570.
