History Attractions in Amalfi

While Amalfi's beaches are one of its most tempting features, this little town packs a historical punch that many visitors miss. Climb the grand staircase of the Duomo of Amalfi and visit the Cloister of Paradise where the noble families of Amalfi were buried in the Middle Ages. The Museo della Carta (Paper Museum) is a small museum located in the ruins of a paper mill located near the top of Amalfi.
