Pizza Restaurants in Amalfi

Located so near Naples, the famous birthplace of pizza in Italy, you'll find excellent Neapolitan style pizza made in many pizzerias and restaurants in Amalfi. Even some where you might not expect it! The locals debate where to go to get the best pizza, and top on most Amalfitan's list is Lo Smeraldino. With a romantic terrace overlooking the sea and a great pizzaiolo (pizza maker), it's a great choice for enjoying fine views and a tasty pizza.

Another popular spot for pizza in Amalfi is at the Trattoria and Pizzeria Da Maria, located just a few steps from Piazza Duomo in the heart of Amalfi. Don't be fooled by the tourist menus outside, step inside and you'll find friendly service and excellent food. You'll even spot locals popping in and carrying out stacks of pizza boxes to go, especially on the nights when Naples' soccer team is playing!

Pizzeria Donna Stella regularly ranks at the top of the list for its great pizza. Even better is enjoying it on the terrace under the lemon trees. In the summer, it's a lovely spot for experiencing the charms of dining in Amalfi. In the winter, there's a small dining area inside.

For a romantic spot, head to the Ristorante Le Arcate in Atrani where they make delicious pizza and traditional seafood dishes of the Amalfi Coast. The night view overlooking the tiny town of Atrani is magical!
