There is very little parking near Crane's Roost. It's best to park at the Altamonte Mall/movie theater and walk over.Description:
Crane's Roost Park is a picturesque strolling spot created in the upscale condo and business district known as Uptown Altamonte. Here you'll find a lovely, 1-mile walking path circling a man-made lake. Loads of walkers and runners take of advantage of the well manicured space which is lit up nicely at night and has 'easy listening' music playing over weather-resistant speakers. There is a public restroom, several benches to stop at, and plenty of grassy spots on the north side perfect for an afternoon picnic. On the south side, the Eddie Rose Amphitheater hosts a regular concert series called "Friday Night Live" which brings local blues and jazz musicians on stage for free musical performances. Nearby, you'll find Cafe Murano, an Italian bistro overlooking the water, as well as several other restaurants which walking distance (Seasons 52, Five Guys). The Altamonte 18 movie theater is close by as well, on the east side of the park by the mall.
