Old Town is probably the best place in Albuquerque to stroll, exploring the scores of shops as you do. All of this walking and shopping will build up an appetite, and there are plenty of restaurants and snack shops in the area from which to choose. La Hacienda at the north end of the Plaza is an Albuquerque tradition for authentic New Mexican fare. Behind San Felipe de Neri is the Church Street Cafe, also with excellent New Mexican and a beautiful patio in nice weather. High Noon is a great place for a steak, and upscale Season's Rotiserie & Grill serves contemporary dishes coupled with a fantastic upstairs patio and live music on select nights. La Crepe Michel is like stepping into a French country home, a nice surprise in Old Town. The Melting Pot offers a huge selection of fondue. If you'd just like a cup of coffee and a fresh pastry, Rolling in Dough is where you want to go.
