The breakfast buffet is great but even better, go up to the cook and ask what he recommends he prepare for you.
Description:
This hotel has seen changes of name and fortunes, but now is one of the best options on this part of the bay. Rooms are large and offer everything you want, and the huge circular pool with tropical island in the middle is good fun and makes for perfect exercise. The elderly Acapulco gents who supply musical entertainment in the restaurant on weekend mornings are divine, and will have you feeling romantic and schmaltzy before you have even started exploring the town. The shop is overpriced (if you forget your sunblock, for example) but from here – so close to the famous Diana fountain - you can walk to stores, markets, cinema and cheap and cheerful restaurants.
