If high-revving exotic machines, keen competition, rubbing elbows with the rich and famous and celebrity spotting is your cup of tea then this World-Class event is for you! Held at the state-of-the-art Yas Marina Circuit, this race is destined to be a permanent venue of the series. Abu Dhabi first hosted it's Formula One Grand Prix in 2009.Formula One races are very popular and draw notables from all over the world. The events are attended by world leaders, billionaires, rock stars and box office legends. The week before the race is chockablock with nightly parties and rock concerts by top tier entertainers which renders the actual race on the final day almost anticlimactic. Huge yachts fill the anchorage adjacent the to the track complex. It all makes NASCAR races look like a backyard weenie roast!
The race is held in November. Several luxury hotels abound close to the track complex and the Yas Island Hotel actually straddles the racetrack so you can sip on a Mojito and watch the race from your room! Ferrari World, the first automotive branded theme park is located next door and promises excitement for the entire family.
