Description:
The Yosemite Institute is a non-profit organization that offers week-long educational programs for school groups which match the NPS mission with state education standards. This nearly 40 year-old program is conducted in an outdoor, experiential manner with an expert faculty. YI instructors are the best naturalist/educators there are and the 'classroom' cannot be beat. YI is very popular for a good reason; schools generally sign up a year in advance.
