Try to get a place on the Starboar side ( the right) of the boat for the best views of both Falls. Be prepared to get a bit wet and take precautions with your camera. In high season, this trip is fully booked and crowded, so try to get the first sailing in the morning, at nine, or one of the later afternoon sailings.

This is one of those Niagara Falls experiences that you just can't miss. This historic boat tour has been operating since 1846, when the first Maid started a ferry service. Today the boats carry passengers right up to the Falls, giving them spectacular close-up views of the Canadian Falls and the American Falls. It's a breathtaking trip, one that every celebrity who visits always takes.. The only time that the boat was commandeered for a private trip was during the visit of Princess Diana and her two boys, William and Harry. Brad Pitt took his children on the Maid while Angelina was filming nearby. Your ticket includes a blue plastic raincoat that will protect you from the heavy spray from the Falls.
